MTV Movie Awards 2012

We went to the MTV Movie awards last night on a double date with my friend Bonnie & her man! It was a blast...it's another very "So LA" thing for us to add to our bucket list! Here are some pics from last night! My favorite part of the show? Seeing Peeta from the Hunger Games!

Concert Line Up!

Last week we went to jam out at the Sister Hazel show! (at the House of Blues venue on Sunset blvd in West Hollywood) It was so much fun, especially when they sang some of my favorites from the 90's such as "All for You" and "Happy."

I'm so excited for the next few shows we have lined up for future date nights...including O.A.R. and one band I'm really excited to see, Coldplay! That concert isn't until May but it's on my calendar! I wonder if Rhianna will be there to sing the new hit with them? I hope so!



Some of my most favorite shows that we have seen together over the past couple years are; Lady Gaga/Bono/Usher (all together in one night!) Jack Johnson, John Mayer, Ben Harper, David Crowder Band, DAVE MATTHEWS (always a favorite of mine) and my uncle's band, Cowboy Mouth. You should see all of the above live if you haven't yet! Amazing!

My favorite venues in Los Angeles are The Hollywood Bowl & The House of Blues of course!

So...if you need an idea for a date night with your hubby or boyfriend, or something fun to do with your friends...go see a concert at a fun venue in your town!

That is one of my favorite things to do with Bryan, it is a fun change of pace for a fun date night! I don't know if it's the fact that he works for Live Nation but ever since we have been together, going to see a show has been a monthly date night for us!

Everyday Bride Houston {Real Wedding}

Even though it has almost been 2 years since Bryan and I tied the knot, it seems like it was just yesterday! Our wedding was featured in a Houston Bridal magazine and I never saw it until today! I spotted a TV personality well known by HGTV viewers; one of the famous "Property Brothers" was out tonight in West Hollywood at The House Blues. I saw him earlier while hanging out in the Foundation Room (HOB Sunset Strip, WeHo) with B & my friend Holly! Random celeb sighting of the day!

Christmas Recap

Hello friends! 

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and a Happy New Years! 

We had a wonderful time spending time with both my family & Bryan's family.. I like to call our December the "Tour De South" ...where we spent a month jet-setting from LA to Houston then to Mobile...then drove to Jackson then flew back to Hollywood in 2012!

Recap: I went home for a couple of weeks to be with my family in Houston, Texas and then Bryan came to Texas to spend Christmas with me and my family as soon as he could get off of work in Los Angeles. Then the day after Christmas, Bryan and I flew to Mobile, Alabama to celebrate Christmas at the Grand Hotel with his family, which has been a Mason family tradition since Bryan was little. We spent a few days in Alabama and then drove to Mississippi, where we celebrated the New Year with Bryan's parents at their home in Clinton. 

To sum the holidays, here are a few snapshots of our Christmas memories...(still have a few more to add!)

Breaking Dawn Red Carpet Movie Premiere

Yesterday I had an excuse to buy a new outfit and get all dolled up for a one of a kind date night! Bryan and I were invited to attend the Breaking Dawn movie premiere and reception (cast after party) with my good friend Bonnie Horton! Did we have a blast or what! Not only did we see the movie before it has come out, we also saw the cast members and other celebs! 

It was a star studded "black carpet" event that celebs such as Lauren Alaina, Paul McDonald, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Heather Locklear, Seth Green, Danica Patrick, Bruno Mars and many others attended to catch a glimpse of the Twilight Cast and watch the world premiere of Summit Entertainment's latest movie, The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn-Part 1. 

The movie was awesome, but I wont give away any of the details and ruin it for you since it comes out later this week! After the movie premiere we were lucky to be invited to attend the cast after party which was held at the LA Live event deck in downtown Los Angeles. The venue was beautifully decorated like "Bella's wedding" (which you will see in the movie) The catering was amazing and everything looked just like it did in the movie. Cell phones weren't allowed until later in the evening so I don't have many photos but here is a sneak peak at the ones I managed to take! 

I enjoyed the movie and can't wait until next year to see Breaking Dawn Part 2! Thanks Bonnie for inviting us, and thank you to Jacey Kassabian of Eleanor Jean haute beauty boutique, for doing my beautiful make up for the event!   http://eleanorjeanboutique.com/
