Teresa Marie Lowther and
Solomon Bryan Mason IV were united in a service of Christian marriage Saturday, Feb. 13, 2010 at 6 p.m. in the sanctuary of St. Peter’s United Methodist Church in Katy under the direction of Susan Gaston, Altar Guild.
Teresa is the daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Michael M. Lowther of Houston, Texas and Geneva, Switzerland. Her grandmother is Marie Lowther of Cedar Bluff, Miss.
Bryan is the son of
Mr. and Mrs. Sam B. Mason III of Clinton, Miss. His grandmother is Jean Clark of Pensacola, Fla. and his grandfather is Rev. S.B. Mason Jr. of Raymond, Miss.
The traditional double-ring ceremony was officiated by Rev. William H. Watson. The groom’s grandfather, Rev. Solomon B. Mason Jr., participated in the ceremony as well. Nuptial music was provided by
Avalon string quartet and trumpet, featuring the groom’s father as soloist. The church was filled with beautiful
blush, pink, cream and
champagne roses, ranunculus, hydrangeas, peonies, tulips, snapdragons and dendrobium orchids.
Floral pomanders, tall candle stands with French silk ribbon streamers and
flower blooms hanging from the tops adorned the sanctuary.
Given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father, the bride was lovely in a strapless
Kenneth Pool gown of ivory Windsor satin, exquisitely trimmed with three bands of Swarovski crystals and a gorgeous
cathedral-length veil. She wore stunning pearl and diamond earrings, a special gift from her father. She carried a beautifully rounded bouquet of cream and blush pink roses with crystals placed throughout the roses and stems wrapped in a cream criss-crossed ribbon with one-inch bands of crystals from her groom.

Empress Vintage Rolls. Kevin and Pam Perkins led the blessing. Family and friends enjoyed the music of
John Milstead of Tupelo, Miss. and also
“The Works” band of Houston. The
cakes were by Gina and the
“Love” Candy Bar was a sweet treat.
Blush pink, cream and champagne monogram
B and T shaped flowers, heart shaped flowers and the many tall centerpiece arrangements with up light details cast a romantic glow as the couple mingled with cherished family and friends, many who came long distances in extreme weather.
On the eve of the wedding, an elegantly appointed rehearsal dinner was held at
Smith and Wollensky, hosted by Mr. and Mrs. Mason. A bridal day
“Breakfast at Tiffany’s” was held at
Willowfork Country Club, and a
“Pretty In Pink” party was held in January at
Hotel ZaZa. Family friends of the bride gifted her with a stunning blush, black and white party at
Maggiano’s. The groom’s family friends hosted a large reception celebration for the couple in Jackson, Miss.
After a honeymoon to San Jose Del Cabo, the couple is now at home in Los Angeles, Calif.
Best Wishes Bryan and Teresa, as you start a new chapter in your lives together.
