Work & Play

Hey friends! It's been a while since I stopped by my blog so I thought I would say hello to catch up! I went to Switzerland in March..(see previous blog with a slideshow of the trip!) it was amaaaaazing as always! Since then here's what I've been up to the past couple of months!

Work: I've been blessed to have gotten to work doing casting for a few fun projects in the world of Television! I also feel very blessed that I enjoy what I do...I think that is most important!

I've been working with dLt Casting & Productions  on a new game show for the The Hub Network, called The Game of Life. Once that show ended, I began casting for Season 2 of  Family Game Night , also on the HUB. I went to see the TV studio set the last day of taping and it happened to be the day that Reuben Klamer board game designer & original creator of the Game Of Life, was there as a special guest on the show! He was so sweet and also gave me an autographed 50th anniversary board game. It was such a pleasure to meet him. It really made me feel a sense of accomplishment when he told me that he loved the kids that I was bringing in to be on the show, and to "keep up the good work." Thanks Rueben!
Rueben Klamer, Game of Life Board Game Creator
I also kept busy working with one of my favorite Casting Directors and mentors, Nick Chiodini, creator of People Farm, Inc.  casting a couple of Pilots for The Disney Channel!
I love what I do. I love to work hard, and I love to play hard!
I just got back from a weekend get-away to Vegas with my B! We had a blast! It's always fun to come to Vegas since it's so close to LA. (It would be like going from Dallas to Houston for the weekend)We like to hang out in the House of Blues Foundation Room, which has the best view in Vegas!
Another one of our favorite things we love is the House of Blues Gospel Brunch, which has a Sunday southern style brunch along with amazing live gospel entertainment! Cheese grits, biscuits & gravy, shrimp, red beans and rice...it's good ole' Southern comfort food to die for!
if you haven't gone, you should check it out any Sunday at any House of Blues Venue!

Bryan also took me to a fabulous show at the Mirage to see The Beatles LOVE Cirque du Soleil show It was amazing! We also went to a sold out show at the House of Blues music hall to see Brandon Flowers. (lead singer of the Killers)
Oh, and did I mention that I met Cee Lo Green? Very nice man. :)

I love to think of nature as an unlimited broadcasting station, through which God speaks to us every hour, if we only tune in.
