Dear Daddy

Happy Father's Day to the most amazing Daddy a girl could ever ask for!

I will forever cherish the memories I've made with you daddy, and look forward to many more to come!
From our favorite pastime of eating ice cream together, throwing baseballs through our tire in the backyard, Astros and Rockets games, the day you taught me to ride a bike on Christmas morning (remember you spilled coffee on my pound puppy?) Going to the ranch & making you SO proud when I (finally) shot my first deer, experiencing majestic views hiking in the Swiss mountains (remember when I fell on the glacier? You ran to my side and said, "Whats the matter baby! Are you okay sweetheart?" Wiping the tears from my eyes, even though I was 27...and I love that.
And my most favorite memory of all, when you walked me down the isle. I will NEVER forget that day and that moment with you, daddy.
Sam Mason (my Father in law) Bryan & My Daddy on the best day of my life!

And to my NEW father-in-law, Sam Mason, I am honored to be your daughter-in-law and feel truly blessed to be a part of your family. Thank you for making my first year as a Mason truly special!

Here's to you both...Santé! Thank you for being wonderful fathers!
Love you forever,

Dance Recital

It's going to be a fun night! Tonight is my niece Reese's first (official) dance recital! I wouldn't have missed it for the world, so naturally I flew to Dallas to visit and make sure to be there to see her and be a part of making memories! She is dancing ballet to "somewhere out there"...I'm sure I will post a few pics after my week with her this week! Uncle Bryan had to stay in LA to work but I'm sure he would have loved to be here for her too! Hopefully one day we won't live so far from Texas (eh hem) but for now, stocking up on sky miles and flying back and forth will have to do! (by the way, thanks for letting me always jetset from LA to Texas Bryan!) When you are close to your family, a girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do! I'm so blessed, and a day never goes by where I don't thank God for my family and friends! Okay, off to play with my niece and get ready for her big night! So proud of you Reesie!

Donna "DJ" Maddox Lowther..I adore you

Dear my Darling DJ,
You are wonderful "mama"....
You are the most amazing woman I have ever met. You have been the best role model, friend, mother, and amazing lady throughout my 28 years I have known you. You have raised me, taken care of me, been there for me and amazed me since I can remember. My darling DJ, I love you and adore you more than you know. Thank you for believing in me, encouraging me, supporting me, loving me, understanding me and teaching me everything it takes it to make it in this world. You have been nothing but an example of a true, godly proverbs woman and I only pray that I can one day be half the mother you are to me. I love you. I adore you.
"I love you forever, I'll like you for always, as long as I'm living...my mommy you'll be"

Chic Easter Party Ideas

Tomorrow after church we are going to Griffith Park to have a picnic with Bryan's sister Anna, their cousin Jacey, her husband Armen and their baby, Clark Kassabian. Instead of just a regular picnic, I thought, what a perfect opportunity to get creative and use some of these adorable ideas for our "Easter" picnic!
These are some ideas I found from www.hostessblog.com and other party planning sites! Adorable right?

HAPPY EASTER TO EVERYONE!

Work & Play

Hey friends! It's been a while since I stopped by my blog so I thought I would say hello to catch up! I went to Switzerland in March..(see previous blog with a slideshow of the trip!) it was amaaaaazing as always! Since then here's what I've been up to the past couple of months!

Work: I've been blessed to have gotten to work doing casting for a few fun projects in the world of Television! I also feel very blessed that I enjoy what I do...I think that is most important!

I've been working with dLt Casting & Productions  on a new game show for the The Hub Network, called The Game of Life. Once that show ended, I began casting for Season 2 of  Family Game Night , also on the HUB. I went to see the TV studio set the last day of taping and it happened to be the day that Reuben Klamer board game designer & original creator of the Game Of Life, was there as a special guest on the show! He was so sweet and also gave me an autographed 50th anniversary board game. It was such a pleasure to meet him. It really made me feel a sense of accomplishment when he told me that he loved the kids that I was bringing in to be on the show, and to "keep up the good work." Thanks Rueben!
Rueben Klamer, Game of Life Board Game Creator
I also kept busy working with one of my favorite Casting Directors and mentors, Nick Chiodini, creator of People Farm, Inc.  casting a couple of Pilots for The Disney Channel!
I love what I do. I love to work hard, and I love to play hard!
I just got back from a weekend get-away to Vegas with my B! We had a blast! It's always fun to come to Vegas since it's so close to LA. (It would be like going from Dallas to Houston for the weekend)We like to hang out in the House of Blues Foundation Room, which has the best view in Vegas!
Another one of our favorite things we love is the House of Blues Gospel Brunch, which has a Sunday southern style brunch along with amazing live gospel entertainment! Cheese grits, biscuits & gravy, shrimp, red beans and rice...it's good ole' Southern comfort food to die for!
if you haven't gone, you should check it out any Sunday at any House of Blues Venue!

Bryan also took me to a fabulous show at the Mirage to see The Beatles LOVE Cirque du Soleil show It was amazing! We also went to a sold out show at the House of Blues music hall to see Brandon Flowers. (lead singer of the Killers)
Oh, and did I mention that I met Cee Lo Green? Very nice man. :)

Home Sweet Suisse Home

I adore my family. I love spending time with them, no matter the location, when we are all together in the same place, I cherish every moment! This past week I flew from LA to NYC to meet up with my family (who flew in from Texas) and then we flew 8 more hours en route to Geneva,  Switzerland!

I adore all things Suisse now that I have gotten a chance to go three times now! It is one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen! I hope you enjoy the photos from our family trip last week! We had a blast skiing/hiking in the Suisse mountains, shopping in Geneva, Montreaux & other charming areas, riding the trains, attempting to speak french, dining, etc! Here are few of the memories made last week!
